NBTM() Description

The NBTM() function is designed for automatic retrieval of the official exchange rate of the Turkmen manat directly from the website of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (cbt.tm) by the specified code and date.

The NBTM function significantly simplifies working with currency exchange rates, especially for those who work with finance or maintain records in different currencies. Instead of manual entry of rates, you just need to use this function to get up-to-date data.

Also, you can use the tool "Official Currency Exchange Rates", which inserts currency exchange rates for selected cells with one click.

Key Characteristics of the NBTM Function

Syntax:

=NBTM(CurrCode; CurrDate)

Parameters:

• CurrCode: Alphabetic code of the currency for which you want to get the rate.
• CurrDate: Date of currency rate setting.

Example of Use

The NBTM() function is simple to use. You just need to enter the currency code and date into the corresponding cells of the formula, and Excel (Calc) will automatically get the current currency rate:

=NBTM(CurrCode; CurrDate)

In this example, the following values are used:

• CurrCode: A2 - alphabetic code of the US dollar ("USD").
• CurrDate: D1 - date of rate setting ("01.03.23").
