SHEETNAME() Description

The SHEETNAME() function returns the sheet name by sequence number.

Main Characteristics of the SHEETNAME Function

Syntax:

=SHEETNAME(Seq)

Parameters:

• Seq: The sequence number of the sheet in the current workbook. If 0 (zero) is specified, the function returns a list of all sheets. If the parameter is missing - then the name of the current sheet is returned.

Usage Example

The SHEETNAME() function is easy to use. You just need to specify the sequence number of the sheet and Excel (Calc) will automatically return its name:

=SHEETNAME(Seq)

In this example, the following values are used:

• Seq: A5 - Sequence number of the sheet (2).

You can use the SHEETNAME() function by installing the YLC Utilities extension.

After that, this function will be available in all files opened in Excel (LibreOffice Calc).
